I’m a fan of the Verona bench because it combines simple, tailored lines with handy under-seat storage - ideal for stashing throws, kids’ toys or spare cushions. The mid-grey upholstery is a great neutral and the subtle button-tufting gives just enough detail without feeling fussy.
It works equally well in a pared-back Scandi hallway, a soft-toned country cottage or a contemporary urban flat. To style, add a textured woollen throw over one arm and a brightly patterned cushion for a pop of colour. Position it beneath a window or at the end of the bed, then layer in a slim console shelf or wall-mounted hooks above to maximise both form and function.
