The Range
Verde TV Unit - Black Oak
£100
Price History
Description
Its three open shelves, convertible into cabinets with sliding doors, provide ample storage for books, magazines, TV tuners, and other media devices. A sleek flat-screen TV can be elegantly placed on top, while vertical open shelves can showcase favorite books, DVDs, and framed family photos. The horizontal open shelves are ideal for organizing a new video game console, tuner, and cable box.
Our Stylist Says
I’m a big fan of this Verde unit in black oak because its slim, mid-century legs and two-tone finish bring warmth without feeling heavy. It sits happily in Scandi-inspired, industrial or minimalist living rooms and offers a neat mix of open shelves and concealed storage to keep gadgets tucked away. For styling, use the open cubby for a low stack of coffee-table books and a small potted plant, then add a slender vase or sculptural object on one side of the top surface to balance your TV on the other. Tidy any cables through the back cut-outs and consider a couple of woven baskets inside the cupboards to corral remotes, cables and gaming controllers.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
