The simple headboard design suits contemporary, Scandi and modern-glam interiors; you can contrast the velvet with crisp white linens for a minimalist look or introduce jewel-toned cushions for a richer feel. To style, layer different fabrics on the bed (think linen sheets, a wool throw and velvet cushions) and add a metallic bedside lamp or a mirrored table to reflect light. Keep wall décor simple - a single oversize print or two slim floating shelves will let the bed remain the focal point.

Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores".
