A feature for the garden, balcony, patio or greenhouse, this raised bed from Veg Trug is ideal for growing plants, flowers or food for the kitchen. At 80cm high, it's just the right height for growing, tending and harvesting without having to crouch down or bend the back too far. The V-shaped design supports plant growth of varying root depths. The shape of the planter also makes it easily accessible for wheelchair users. The planter comes with a form-fitting biodegradable liner for the deep aeration of your crops' root systems and ensures proper drainage. The stand holds 210 litres of compost and it's made of durable 100% FSC-certified cedar wood, coated in a water-based, food-safe finish for outdoor use, for growing healthy crops ready for cooking, eating or just giving back to nature. John Lewis started as a small shop on London's Oxford Street in 1864. Today, it's part of a bigger family called the John Lewis Partnership, which also includes Waitrose stores.
