The 4 cm thick foam cushion with durable PU cover provides a comfortable place to sit, while the 7 cm deep compartment beneath the seat stores gloves, books and other small essentials. Open shelves below offer room for up to 8 pairs of shoes or sports gear. Made from 15 mm particleboard, this sturdy hallway bench supports up to 150 kg for dependable everyday use. Two strong alloy hinges help keep the lid stable and reduce the risk of sudden closing, while side handles make the bench easy to move when needed.

Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.

A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
