Our Stylist Says
I really like this free-standing hall tree for its practical yet streamlined design. It works particularly well in contemporary or minimalist interiors, but can also add contrast in more classic settings. Its black finish makes it versatile, pairing nicely with both light and dark colour schemes. From a styling perspective, I recommend using the hooks for everyday items like bags, keys, or hats to keep the entryway organised. The shelves are perfect for baskets or decorative boxes to hide away smaller clutter, while the top surface offers space for a mirror or a display tray. To keep things looking tidy, limit the number of items stored on the shelves, and consider placing a cosy rug underneath to anchor it visually. Overall, it’s a great piece for adding functionality without compromising on style in an entrance or small hallway.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
