Description
The SOLACE+CO Varm Ribbed Dining Bench matches the wider Varm range, with the same vertical ribbed detailing and black wood effect finish. It tucks neatly under the table when not in use, which makes it a good way to seat more people without filling the room with chairs.
Our Stylist Says
I really like this bench - the ribbed detailing and rich walnut finish give it a contemporary yet timeless look. It works well in both modern and rustic interiors, adding warmth and texture without feeling bulky. Practical styling tips include pairing it with a neutral-toned table and pairing with cushions or throws for added comfort. It’s perfect for everyday dining, family meals, or even as a statement piece in a versatile open-plan space. Its sturdy construction makes it great for frequent use, and the natural wood grain adds subtle interest. Keep accessories minimal for a sleek look, or layer with textiles to create a cosy, inviting vibe.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
