Our Stylist Says
I love the Varm Black Extendable Table with its sleek, modern look that can adapt easily from everyday dining to larger gatherings thanks to its extendable feature. The black finish and green Aiko chairs create a contemporary contrast that works well in both minimalist and eclectic interiors. It’s particularly versatile for urban or industrial-style homes, but can also add a striking focal point in more eclectic or modern rustic spaces. Practical styling tips include keeping accessories minimal to let the striking table and chairs stand out, and adding a pop of colour through tableware or textiles to complement the green chairs. Pairing it with neutral or darker walls will enhance its bold presence, while a light or patterned rug underneath can soften the look and define the dining area.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
