Description
A low profile showcases a mix of upholstery techniques, from a cushioned, sloped headboard to a ruched border. The silhouette of our Vara bed mirrors the aesthetics of Soho House Rome. Fully upholstered in stonewashed, Belgian linen chenille in our made-to-order palette, this bed features a low, cushioned headboard and a ruched border that accents the frame.
Our Stylist Says
The Vara bed, in linen chenille, offers a sleek yet understated look that works well in a variety of interiors, from modern minimal to classic luxe. I love its soft, textured fabric which adds warmth and depth without overpowering the space. It's particularly suited to bedrooms that favour a relaxed, inviting feel, especially when styled with layered bedding and a mix of textures - think throws or plush cushions. Practical styling tips include pairing it with neutral or earthy tones to emphasise its stone colour, and keeping other furniture simple and understated to let the bed be the focal point. Its low profile also makes it ideal for contemporary rooms where a sense of openness and clean lines is desired.

About Soho Home
From Humble Requests to Global Homes
Soho Home's journey began from a simple love for their unique designs. The brand's inception was sparked by guests' desires to take a piece of Soho Houses with them, cherishing their favourite items from these comforting spaces.
This led to the birth of Soho Home in 2016 with their Barwell crystal glassware. Fast forward, the brand has expanded beyond just a few staples, encompassing a wide array of interior items ranging from furniture and tableware to home fragrances and textiles.
A World of Houses, Unified in Comfort
With over 30 Soho Houses across the globe, from vibrant Mumbai to trendy Austin and historic Berlin, the essence remains the same - offering a familiar, relaxed haven. Each House is meticulously designed, mirroring the unique flair of its surroundings.
Every location, with its distinct culture and history, serves as a muse for Soho Home's collections. This is evident in their specific pieces, like the elegant Manette bed found in Kettner's or the dazzling Juliana chandelier gracing the DUMBO House.
