A low profile showcases a mix of upholstery techniques, from a cushioned, sloped headboard to a ruched border. The silhouette of our Vara bed mirrors the aesthetics of Soho House Rome. Fully upholstered in stonewashed, Belgian linen chenille in our made-to-order palette, this bed features a low, cushioned headboard and a ruched border that accents the frame.
Our Stylist Says
The Vara Bed in linen chenille brings a luxe yet understated touch to a bedroom, thanks to its rich chocolate tone and plush texture. I love it for creating cosy, inviting spaces-it's versatile enough to complement both modern and more traditional interiors. Styling tips include pairing it with layered bedding in neutral or complementary shades for a calm look, and adding textured throws or cushions to enhance its tactile appeal. Its substantial presence works well in larger bedrooms, but it can also anchor more minimalist schemes, providing warmth and depth without overwhelming the space. Overall, it’s a timeless piece that balances comfort with sophisticated style.

About Soho Home
From Humble Requests to Global Homes
Soho Home's journey began from a simple love for their unique designs. The brand's inception was sparked by guests' desires to take a piece of Soho Houses with them, cherishing their favourite items from these comforting spaces.
This led to the birth of Soho Home in 2016 with their Barwell crystal glassware. Fast forward, the brand has expanded beyond just a few staples, encompassing a wide array of interior items ranging from furniture and tableware to home fragrances and textiles.
A World of Houses, Unified in Comfort
With over 30 Soho Houses across the globe, from vibrant Mumbai to trendy Austin and historic Berlin, the essence remains the same - offering a familiar, relaxed haven. Each House is meticulously designed, mirroring the unique flair of its surroundings.
Every location, with its distinct culture and history, serves as a muse for Soho Home's collections. This is evident in their specific pieces, like the elegant Manette bed found in Kettner's or the dazzling Juliana chandelier gracing the DUMBO House.
