Description

Upgrade your home with the Vale Maxi Bookcase, a spacious and stylish storage solution designed for modern living. Featuring a durable metal frame and 18mm engineered wood shelves, this unit combines strength with contemporary aesthetics, making it a perfect fit for any space. With five open tiers and six adjustable shelves, you can customize the layout to match your storage needs. Whether you want a symmetrical display or a more dynamic arrangement, the modular design allows for maximum flexibility. Ideal for living rooms, bedrooms, offices, and hallways, this bookcase seamlessly blends functionality with style.

Our Stylist Says

I’m a fan of this maxi bookcase for its clean metal frame and contrasting ash-green panels - it’s a sleek way to introduce a subtle pop of colour without overpowering the room. The adjustable shelves make it ideal for both tall art books and smaller décor pieces, so you can personalise each cubby to suit your needs. It works particularly well in modern or industrial-inspired spaces, but can also soften scandi and mid-century rooms. For styling, mix in a few potted plants, group similarly coloured books horizontally and vertically, and leave some compartments empty to avoid a cluttered look. Finish with one or two sculptural objects at eye level to draw attention and maintain balance.

About The Range

Founded in 1989, The Range is the fastest growing retailer in the UK with an extensive selection to cater to a variety of styles and budgets. The Range provides affordable and quality products to enhance your living space.

Humble Beginnings

In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.

Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.

A Visionary Leader

Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.

Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.

More Than Just Stores

You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
