The Urbania candleholders are designed by Mette Bache and Barbara Bendix Becker for Kähler. The candleholders are made of ceramics and are all shaped as different houses with a modern expressions. The flickering light and the shadows, that are cast from the inside of the candleholders, create a beautiful effect and definitely bring a coziness to any room. The Urbania collection consists of five houses: an apartment house, a city house, a church, a pantheon and a basilica church. The candleholders are sold separately.
I love the urbania candleholder Galleri for its minimalist, modern design that adds a subtle architectural touch to any space. Its clean white finish makes it versatile, working particularly well in contemporary, Scandi-inspired interiors, as well as more eclectic settings when paired thoughtfully with textured or coloured accents. For styling, I recommend placing it on a mantelpiece or side table grouped with other candles or decorative objects to create an inviting vignette. It also works beautifully as a standalone piece, especially when lit, as its slatted design casts interesting shadows that add warmth and character to a room. Don’t be afraid to experiment with different candle heights or grouping a few for a layered, textured look.
