I’m a fan of this brown chest for its clean-lined profile and the contrast of warm wood-effect drawers against slim black metal legs. It slots neatly into modern Scandi, industrial or minimalist interiors, and its compact depth makes it ideal for a hallway, bedroom or home office where space is at a premium. Styling tip: anchor it beneath a round or arch-topped mirror to open up the space, then add a couple of low-maintenance plants and a tidy stack of books or a ceramic tray. Keep accessories simple and in muted tones (think olive green, soft ochre or gentle terracotta) to complement the wood grain without overpowering it.

Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.

Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
