Description
This robust and colourful square coffee table is finished in a light lacquer which accentuates the colourful grain and texture of the reclaimed wood. A great focus point for your living room it also has a slatted shelf underneath for extra storage. Finished with all the signature Urban Chic fittings.

I’m a big fan of this square coffee table for its clean, modern frame and the warmth the reclaimed‐look timber brings into a room. It slots straight into industrial or Scandi‐inspired schemes but also works well in more eclectic or farmhouse settings, thanks to the mix of wood tones.
Styling it is straightforward: layer a low tray of books or magazines on the lower shelf and place a simple vase of foliage or a sculptural object on top. Pair it with a neutral rug and a leather or fabric sofa in muted hues to let the timber colours pop, and use minimal accessories to keep the look fresh and unfussy.

In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth.
