I’m a fan of this slim plant-and-lamp stand for its mix of reclaimed timber tones framed in black metal - it brings warmth without bulk. It suits industrial, Scandi or boho schemes and works especially well in tight hallways or corners. Style it with a trailing fern or a sculptural lamp on top, tuck a few art books or a woven basket on the shelf below, and add a small ceramic pot or set of candles in the drawer for a neat, curated look.

In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
