I’m a fan of this little side table for its clean lines and mixed-timber top - the worn-in planks add instant character without feeling fussy. The powder-coated metal frame keeps it light, so it slots equally well into an industrial loft, a Scandi-style flat or a relaxed country scheme.
Use it beside a sofa for a lamp and a small stack of books, or cluster two in a hallway for plants and a catch-all tray. Highlight the wood’s varied tones by pairing with ceramics in muted greens and creams, then finish with a single frond or fern in a simple glass vase.

In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores".
