Urban chic dining bench. Made from reclaimed wood salvaged from old buildings in southern India. Part of the Baumhaus urban chic range, colourful furniture for stylish living.

I’m a fan of this bench for its mix of reclaimed-style timber slats and a slim metal frame - it brings texture and colour without overwhelming a space. It sits well in industrial, Scandi-inspired or modern farmhouse dining areas and adds a casual, communal feel that standard chairs can’t match.
To style it, keep the table simple (think black or natural wood) so the bench remains the focus, then layer on a couple of neutral linen cushions or a faux-fur throw for comfort. Tuck the bench fully under the table when not in use to maximise floor space and easy flow.

Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
