I’m a fan of the way this Urban Chic console combines mixed-tone timber with a slim black metal frame - it brings warmth without feeling bulky. It sits equally well in an industrial-style hallway, a pared-back Scandi-inspired living room or even a modern farmhouse entrance.
For styling, keep it simple: perch a round mirror or slim artwork above, place a low-profile lamp at one end and a shallow tray or bowl for keys and post at the other. Use the two drawers to hide everyday clutter and finish with a sculptural vase or a trailing plant to soften the angles.

In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
