Description
The upholstered bed has a classic yet modern design thanks to the upholstered look. The thick headboard gives you stable and comfortable back support while reading or watching TV. Its surface feels very soft and silky, but also delicate, durable, elastic, and lint-free, has good water absorption, good elasticity, and does not stimulate the human body. The bed frame of the upholstered bed is stable and easy to assemble. The wooden slats minimize noise while you sleep and extend the life of your mattress. The slatted frame with a stabilizing centre bar makes the bed extremely robust. In addition, support feet ensure a firm footing. The unique hydraulic mattress platform with a lifting function provides ample storage space under the bed for you to access in no time. You can store blankets, pillows, bed linen or toys in the large storage box under the fold-up slatted frame. The bed is ideal if you only have limited space for closets in the room.
Our Stylist Says
I’m a fan of this grey upholstered bed because the hydraulic lift gives you generous under-mattress storage without spoiling its streamlined look, and the button-tufted headboard adds just enough texture to act as a focal point. Its soft grey hue works well in contemporary, Scandi or even modern-glam schemes, pairing easily with both muted and jewel-tone accents. For styling, keep your bedlinen in light neutrals to let the upholstery stand out, then layer in cushions or a throw in complementary shades. Flank it with slimline bedside tables and warm-metal lamps to balance the height of the headboard, and anchor the whole setup with a low-pile rug. The hidden storage means you can tuck away extra bedding or seasonal items, so your bedroom always feels calm and uncluttered.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
