Upcycled reclaimed industrial large wide bookcase featuring wood and metal. The light grain hardwood is left in its natural state and colour with natural variations and slight cracking with banded iron edges.

Our Stylist Says

I’m a fan of this industrial-style open bookcase - its mix of reclaimed-look timber shelves and slim black metal frame feels both sturdy and unfussy. It works really well in loft-inspired living rooms, home offices with exposed brick or even a Scandi-industrial hallway where you want a bit of warmth without losing that pared-back edge. For styling, I’d keep the lower shelves for heavier items like woven baskets or vinyl records and use the middle tiers to display books grouped by height for a tidy look. Add a couple of potted succulents and a framed print on alternating levels to break up the lines, and leave the top shelf with just one sculptural vase or two stacked coffee-table books to let the structure shine.

About The Range

Founded in 1989, The Range is the fastest growing retailer in the UK with an extensive selection to cater to a variety of styles and budgets. The Range provides affordable and quality products to enhance your living space.

Humble Beginnings

In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.

Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.

A Visionary Leader

Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.

Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.

More Than Just Stores

You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
