Description
Bring distinctive texture to your home with the Underfoot Vale rug in Anthracite/Amber. Its traditional floral rug complements classic and contemporary interiors, while the soft polyester pile offers comfortable everyday use. A durable jute backing helps the rug lie securely and the machine made construction provides dependable wear in living rooms, bedrooms, dining areas and hallways. Suitable for most indoor floors and compatible with underfloor heating when used with a suitable anti slip underlay. Vacuum regularly and spot clean with mild detergent.
Our Stylist Says
This large rug in anthracite and amber is a versatile piece that works particularly well in contemporary and transitional interiors. Its 8mm polyester pile offers a balance of softness underfoot and durability, making it practical for living rooms or family spaces. I love how the muted colour palette allows it to anchor a room without overpowering the decor, while the amber accents add warmth and subtle visual interest. For styling, consider layering it over neutral or muted-toned flooring to really let the colour details pop, and pair with cosy, textured cushions or throws for a balanced look. Its generous size makes it perfect for defining seating areas in open-plan layouts or anchoring a focal point in the room.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
