Description
Created by the design duo Doshi Levien, the Uchiwa armchair will surprise you with its sculptural look and XXL proportions. Its design is both simple and modern: the designers took their inspiration from the traditional shape of the fan. It consists of a moulded polyurethane shell, padded with a thick layer of foam and covered with luxurious Kvadrat fabric, mostly made of virgin wool. This Steelcut Trio fabric is characterised by a special weave of three threads of slightly different colours (1 light, 1 medium, 1 dark) that create a three-dimensional effect in the textile and vary the tone according to the angle of view. The enveloping shape of the seat creates a private space and invites you to relax. Original and very elegant, this armchair lets the user isolate their intimate space. The broad, deep seat (Width 87. 2 cm x Depth 86. 6 cm) is ultra-inviting. The interior of the armchair has a rounded shape that contrasts with the angular lines of the structure.
