Colour, geometry, and material come together to create this luminous checkerboard rug with a contemporary edge. Its apparent simplicity hides a knotting technique that allows you to create variations in texture by playing with the height of the bristles. All our rugs are handcrafted, a guarantee of quality and uniqueness. Real decorative elements, thermal and sound insulators, they warm the atmosphere. Product Details • 58% wool, 21% cotton, 10% polyester, 7% viscose, 4% acrylic • Craftsmanship: Hand woven • Weight: 2000g/m² • Pile height: 4 to 5 mm Quality Info • Wool is a warm and comfortable natural fibre. In addition to being resistant to wear and durable over time, the wool carpet is also an excellent thermal and sound insulator. • Each piece is handcrafted, according to ancestral know-how. There may therefore be slight variations in colour from one carpet to another.. They contribute to the beauty of each piece and make it unique. Care Advice • Some materials such as wool are very fibrous and you can actually observe a piling during the first weeks of use: this is a normal for this type of product and is not a defect. Remove the excess fibres by hand where possible, do not use a vacuum cleaner with a rotating brush as this can pull and tear the fibres. The pilling will improve over time. • For maintenance, we advise you to vacuum it very little the first month and then to vacuum it without rubbing too much always without using the brush. • Remove any stains immediately with a clean, damp cloth. • Dry clean recommended. I love this hand-knotted rug for its natural, understated look that adds warmth without overpowering a space. Its blend of wool and cotton makes it both durable and soft underfoot, perfect for living rooms, bedrooms, or even cosy studies. It works particularly well in both modern and rustic interiors, where its organic texture can complement wood furnishings or minimalistic decor. For styling, consider layering it with textured cushions or throws in complementary colours to enhance its earthy tone. Also, it’s practical for everyday use, as it’s not overly plush, making it easy to maintain, while adding a touch of craftsmanship to your room.
