A new contemporary icon is born! British designer Sir Kenneth Grange has created numerous iconic lights with an industrial design, including the famous Type 75 architect lamp, a true emblem of Anglepoise since 1933. For his 90th birthday, Sir Kenneth Grange has designed a new lamp: Type 80. This model has its own personality, a strong contemporary identity, while remaining faithful to the fundamentals of the Anglepoisebrand: simplicity, practicality, quality and robustness. The Type 80 lamp is characterised by its striking graphical profile. Each detail has been carefully studied and developed with precision to offer style, ease of use and consistency across all the Type 80 collection. The lampshade is embellished with a groove which allows an attractive and practical light halo to escape. The extremely robust spring joint, designed according to new rigorous standards, allows for perfect stability of the lampshade in all positions. For an irreproachable look, the spring system as well as the cables are cunningly hidden inside the arm. This wall light is equipped with a touch switch located on top of the shade. In addition to the adjustable lampshade, the Type 80 W2 wall light has an extended arm with two mobile joints at the wall and lampshade, so that you can direct the light towards where you most need it. The Type 80 collections offers a high-end lighting solutions for household and commercial interiors alike. The Type 80 collection is available in a palette of matte and sophisticated colours.
