Like a radar watching the sky… TX1 was born from the fascination of designer Marco Ghilarducci with the infinite dimension of space and its lack of limits, creating a sense of unlimited freedom. Looking at the TX1 lamp, with its large reflector disc turned upwards, slightly tilted, gives you the impression of imagining the connection and exchange of data between a radar and the satellites sent out into the universe hundreds of miles away from Earth. A cylinder and a disc: Two shapes that are so different and so far from one another, independent and yet connected by two slender arms in gilded brass. The result is a lightweight yet durable link, suspended yet anchored. The reflector, a convex disc in painted aluminium, seems to almost hover in mid-air, freely directly the light produced by the cylindrical base. The integrated LED light source is located on top of the cylindrical base. The ensemble produces a light which is never blinding, creating a balanced presence which is never trivial and always, to the contrary, iconic. TX1 is a versatile lamp, designed to diffuse an indirect light which is directed towards the reflector and can be adjusted to 45° in both directions, so as to direct a soft light in the desired direction. TX1 is available in two different sizes, which lets you adapt it to various spaces in your home. The Large version can be placed on a coffee table by a sofa or on the ground, and can also be used as a floor lamp. The Medium version has been designed for use as a table lamp, in the living room or in kids' bedrooms. TX1 has a double soul, embodying luxurious aesthetics and technological prowess. The matte pearly grey finish is enhanced with elegant details in gilded brass. Thanks to the use of special mother-of-pearl pigments, the lamp's colour is rich, textured and deep.
