Inspired by traditional cafe style seating, these dining chairs feature a classic bentwood frame with a statement crossed back. With a frame made of oak and a seat covered in pale grey linen, these chairs pair elegantly with a number of our dining tables.

I’m a fan of these oak cross-back chairs for their clean lines and warm tone, which slot effortlessly into farmhouse, Scandi-inspired or contemporary country schemes. The gently curved legs and X-back bring subtle interest without overwhelming a space, and the neutral wood finish pairs well with both pale and deeper wall colours. For a pulled-together look, add simple linen seat pads in soft greys or muted checks, or mix in a bench at one side of the table to create an inviting, layered dining setting.
