I’m a big fan of the Aarhus chairs for their clean lines and softly rounded backrest - they feel both current and quietly elegant. The light oak legs and neutral upholstery make them an easy fit in a Scandi-inspired dining space, but they’ll also slot neatly into a modern farmhouse or pared-back transitional scheme.
For styling, pair these chairs with a simple timber or marble-topped table and layer in natural textures like a jute runner or woven place mats. A set of three or five either side of your table creates symmetry, while a single chair at the end can be dressed with a folded wool throw to introduce subtle colour and warmth.
