Description
The Tvilum Madrid Wardrobe gives you serious storage space for keeping clothes organised across three doors and three drawers. It's a tall unit that holds hanging items behind the doors, while the drawers keep folded clothes, accessories or linens tucked away. The hanging rail supports up to 15kg, so you can store coats, suits and dresses without worrying about sagging. There's room to arrange your wardrobe how you like it, with space for everyday essentials and seasonal items. The black finish fits into modern or traditional bedrooms without clashing with existing furniture. You get a choice of handles in the box, brown leather or silver knobs, so you can match your room's style. The doors open smoothly and close securely, keeping everything out of sight. Wall fixings are included to keep the wardrobe stable and prevent tipping, especially important in family homes. It arrives flat-packed with clear step-by-step instructions, and two people are recommended for assembly. The structure holds up well to daily use, with a solid build that keeps things steady when you're opening drawers or reaching for clothes. Part of the Madrid collection. Made of foil faced chipboard. About Habitat
The Birth of Habitat
In 1964, Sir Terence Conran founded Habitat in London, aiming to bring a fresh European touch to UK home decor.
The first store, located on Fulham Road in Chelsea, became the blueprint for all Habitat stores to come. The store stood out with its distinct design, and was famously known for selling affordable pasta storage jars just as the pasta market began booming in the UK.
Rapid Expansion & Legacy
Habitat grew swiftly in the UK during the 1960s and even crossed borders with its first international store in Paris in 1973.
The brand's journey through the decades saw various mergers and acquisitions, including its integration with Sainsbury's Group in 2017.
Habitat's innovation extended beyond products; they even launched a mail-order system in 1966 and initiated the concept of flat-pack furniture in 1971.
Celebrating its rich history, the brand marked its 50th anniversary in 2014 by collaborating with past designers and commissioning a special logo.
Innovation & Collaboration
Habitat has always been at the forefront of modern design. Throughout its history, the brand has been renowned for its collaborations with acclaimed artists and designers, ensuring it consistently offers unique, limited-edition collections.
Under the umbrella of the Sainsbury's Group since 2017, Habitat continues its tradition of merging contemporary aesthetics with functional design, solidifying its reputation as a leading name in home furnishings.
