Description

Explore Spinningfield, our new range inspired by the architectural style of Manchester. Made with a mixture of dark wood and bohemian cane, our Whitworth Cane TV Unit is a beautiful piece of Art Deco styled furniture. Useful as a television stand or as a sofa table, the multifunctional TV unit comes with two drawers and two open shelves for added tidiness. Why not match with our Whitworth side table and/or sideboard for a consistent aesthetic? Providing both flair and functionality, elevate your movie nights with this TV stand, suitable for TVs up to 55 inches so you can really get lost in the big screen. The open shelves are ideal for displaying your favourite ornaments, whilst you store DVDs away in the natural cane fronted storage drawers, adorned with gold effect handles to bring a touch of luxe to the art-deco design. Shop the Spinningfield Whitworth Cane range today to weave that charming retro touch throughout your home.

Our Stylist Says

I’m a fan of this black TV stand for its clean lines, compact footprint and mix of concealed and open storage - the drawers hide cables and remotes, while the shelves show off books or AV kit. It suits modern Scandi, mid-century or minimalist interiors, thanks to the tapered legs and pared-back look. Practical styling tip: use matching storage boxes or baskets in one shelf to keep mess out of sight, and leave the other shelf for a small stack of books or a decorative box. On top, balance the TV with a low-profile lamp or a pair of ceramics, and tuck a slim frame or mirror behind the screen for extra depth.

About The Range

Founded in 1989, The Range is the fastest growing retailer in the UK with an extensive selection to cater to a variety of styles and budgets. The Range provides affordable and quality products to enhance your living space.

Humble Beginnings

In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.

Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.

A Visionary Leader

Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.

Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.

More Than Just Stores

You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
