Description

A modern design made using a mix of durable materials. Care instructions To remove coarse and dry dirt, the doormat can be simply shaken or tapped off. The mat can also be cleaned of heavy dirt with a garden hose and water (please do not use a high-pressure cleaner). After cleaning with water, it is best to lay the mat flat in a warm place to dry. The mat can absorb a lot of water and yet it dries quickly. Besides shaking it out, you can also vacuum it regularly with a vacuum cleaner, please use a smooth nozzle for this. This removes foreign particles and keeps the mat clean and functional. These care measures are sufficient for everyday use. If the mat should become very dirty, it can be washed in the washing machine at max. 40 °C. Use a mild detergent and spin the mat at a low speed. Once washed, lay the mat out flat to dry. Machine wash the mat once a year to maintain the rubber and to avoid dark abrasions to the surface.

Our Stylist Says

I love this door mat for its subtle, textured pattern that adds visual interest without overpowering a space. It works particularly well in both contemporary and traditional interiors, offering a neutral yet stylish welcome. Practical styling tips include pairing it with natural-toned or minimalist door hardware to enhance its earthy vibe, and placing it on a rustic stone or wooden porch for a cohesive look. It’s durable enough for high-traffic areas and provides a smart way to keep muddy boots at bay while still looking polished.

About John Lewis

Founded in 1864, John Lewis is a trusted and beloved brand where you can find a diverse range of furniture for every style and budget, alongside finding the perfect item that reflects your personal taste.

A Legacy of Innovation and Inclusion

John Lewis started as a small shop on London's Oxford Street in 1864. Today, it's part of a bigger family called the John Lewis Partnership, which also includes Waitrose stores.

What makes them special is that they're owned by their employees, known as 'Partners'. The idea, from the beginning, was to give everyone a say in how the business was run. With over 74,000 Partners (employees) at the heart of its operations, the essence of John Lewis's vision, from over a century ago, still echoes today being the largest employee-owned venture.

Adapting to Changing Times

Like many stores, John Lewis has had to change with the times. They've closed some shops but have grown their online business a lot, especially when more people started shopping online during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Their history is filled with key moments, like buying Peter Jones in 1905, adding Waitrose in 1937, and starting their website in 2001. They've always tried to adapt and stay relevant.

Commitment to a Greater Purpose

John Lewis believes in doing good and making the world a better place. This is seen in the way they treat their employees and customers. For example, in 2021, they were the first big UK store to give parents six months paid leave when they have a baby and two weeks paid leave if they lose a pregnancy. They've been around for over a century and always aim to do the right thing by everyone.
