Description
Defined by a robust, grounded aesthetic and a tactile material presence, this Tundra photo frame brings a bold yet considered character to personal displays. The 4x6 format offers an accessible and immediately practical introduction to the collection, accommodating a standard print size with ease. The finish, suggestive of a weathered timber texture, gives the piece a strong visual identity that feels confident and contemporary without veering into severity. Its purpose is to present a cherished photograph within a frame that contributes its own quiet drama, adding depth and grounded presence to a styled surface. The compact 4x6 scale suits bedside tables, desk surfaces, and bookshelves, where its characterful finish can be appreciated at close range and integrated into a layered vignette. A stable rear support ensures reliable freestanding display, and the considered construction provides reassuring durability for everyday handling. Within an interior, it sits most naturally within moody, contemporary, or industrial-inspired schemes, pairing harmoniously with dark timber, aged metal accents, and textured stone surfaces. Its strong design identity also makes it a compelling accent within more eclectic arrangements, where it provides a moment of visual weight and depth.
Our Stylist Says
I love the rustic appeal of this Tundra 4x6 weathered timber frame, which adds warmth and texture to various interiors. It's particularly well-suited for a country, farmhouse, or vintage-inspired space, but can also complement more modern settings when paired with natural materials. Practical styling tips include layering it with other frames on a mantel or gallery wall for a curated look, or letting it stand alone on a sideboard or shelf to highlight a special photo. Its weathered finish makes it versatile enough to complement both neutral colour palettes and richer, earthy tones, making it a flexible choice for any room that needs a charming, handcrafted touch.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
