Our Tumbling Roses Bed has been designed by us in sunny Sussex. Upholstered in a linen blend fabric (60% Linen, 40% cotton) that depicts cascading roses in shades of sage and jade, the colour tones likened to the leaves of the Lamb's Ear plant (also known as Stachys Byzantina Silver Carpet).A pale sage velvet piping perfectly complements the colour tones in the biophilic upholstery. The Tumbling Roses Bed is a timeless and somewhat nostalgic design that, stylistically, will remain your constant as you change style or homes. It has been designed to pair perfectly with neutral colour palettes or alongside dark greens or ivory whites. The side rails feature a gentle undulating curve that emulates the curve of the headboard, and the elegant turned wooden feet have the same curvaceous quality. The bed is hand made in the UK by a family-run company who have specialised in making luxury beds since the 1920s. The wide, flat slats are made from solid redwood from sustainable and managed forests. Once positioned on the side rails, the slats will be held in place by the weight of your mattress, alternatively they can be screwed into position using the pre-drilled pilot holes. Matching cushions in our Tumbling Roses print are also available.
This bed frame is a lovely choice for creating a soft, relaxed aesthetic, especially in traditional or shabby-chic interiors. I love the linen upholstery; it adds texture and a cosy feel while maintaining a refined look. It's versatile enough to work well with both neutral and pastel colour palettes, making it ideal for calming bedroom schemes. For styling tips, pair it with layered bedding in linen or cotton, and consider adding vintage or distressed wooden furniture to enhance its rustic charm. To complete the look, keep the accessories minimal-perhaps with a simple bedside lamp and a couple of fresh flowers-or add plush cushions for extra comfort. Overall, it’s a delightful piece that delivers comfort and understated elegance in a spacious setting.
