Considered one of the great icons of design, Eero Saarinen's multi-award-winning Tulip Dining Table is characterised by its instantly recognisable single stem and distinctive Calacatta marble finish. Designed in 1957 as part of the famous Pedestal collection that vowed to address the 'ugly, confusing, unrestful world' underneath tables and tables, the Tulip Dining Table consists of a sweeping base of die-cast aluminium, lacquered in black and coated with a protective Rilsan finish. The sturdy and sculptural coated aluminium base sweeps elegantly from the floor to support a uniquely veined Italian Calacatta marble top, accented with a glossy finish for a natural, honed appearance with protective properties, perfect for everyday use.
