Description

Add a pop of colour to your living space with the Tula Check Cushion in Pink. This 45 x 45cm cushion features a classic check pattern in a vibrant pink hue, perfect for brightening up any room. Its soft, durable fabric ensures lasting comfort and style.

Our Stylist Says

I love this cushion for its soft, versatile charm-perfect for adding a pop of colour without overwhelming a space. The pink check pattern lends itself well to both contemporary and more traditional interiors, especially if you're aiming for a cosy, inviting feel. It works particularly well with neutral tones, like greys, beiges, or whites, but can also be styled with prints and textures for a layered look. Practical styling tips include pairing it with other textured cushions or throws in natural fibres to create an inviting, relaxed vibe. It’s ideal for living rooms, bedrooms, or even as a cheerful accent on a neutral armchair.

About BHS.com

Founded in 1928, BHS is a renowned brand that caters to various tastes and budgets. From modern to classic designs, BHS offers quality items that effortlessly elevate your decor.

Historical Roots

British Home Stores, known as BHS, was founded by a group of U.S. entrepreneurs with the goal of replicating the same success that was seen by Woolworths.

Their first store was on the streets of Brixton and the brand quickly gained popularity for its diverse offerings.

Over time, their range of products expanded to encompass not just clothing and household items, but also furniture, electronics, entertainment, and even beauty products. By the 1960's, BHS already had 94 stores across the nation!

Expansion and Evolution

BHS has always been on the cutting edge of retail trends! In the 1970s and 1980s, when indoor shopping centres were gaining popularity, BHS quickly adapted. Their collaboration with Sainsbury's led to the creation of SavaCentre hypermarkets, which offered a combined retail experience of both general merchandise and groceries.

They didn't limit themselves to the UK either. By 1985, BHS opened its doors in Gibraltar, marking its international debut. Significant milestones like the merger with Habitat and Mothercare in 1986 further shaped its success.
