Bamboo has a lot of the same great qualities as silk. It's made from one of the fastest regenerative materials on the planet. The fabric is naturally cooling and has antibacterial characteristics, combined with a super-luxurious soft and silky hand feel. Fabric made of viscose from bamboo, doesn't use harsh chemicals or pesticides and can help prevent skin irritations that can flare up with other chemically treated fabrics. This makes it perfect for those more susceptible to allergies as it is naturally hypoallergenic and feels beautifully soft against skin wash after wash. John Lewis started as a small shop on London's Oxford Street in 1864. Today, it's part of a bigger family called the John Lewis Partnership, which also includes Waitrose stores.

John Lewis believes in doing good and making the world a better place. This is seen in the way they treat their employees and customers. For example, in 2021, they were the first big UK store to give parents six months paid leave when they have a baby and two weeks paid leave if they lose a pregnancy. They've been around for over a century and always aim to do the right thing by everyone.
