Melding Mediterranean blues and greens ‘Serpentine’ was stirred by the exotic greens within the namesake marble. Layer onto bedroom walls for a cosy intimate atmosphere. Zoffany True Matt is a water based emulsion that combines irresistible chalky looks with a wipeable, minimal sheen finish. All surfaces should be sound, clean, dry and free from grease. Remove any loose or flaking paint. Rub down sound glossy surfaces with fine waterproof abrasive paper and rinse thoroughly before applying a pre-coat of a water/acrylic primer undercoat. Avoid the inhalation of dust. Wear a suitable face mask if dry sanding. Special precautions should be taken during preparation of pre-1960’s paint surfaces as they may contain harmful lead. Prime base surfaces with an appropriate primer. Stir well before use and apply by brush or roller. When using a roller, use a medium pile synthetic type. Do not overfill the tray. Ensure roller is loaded evenly. If using a brush, load generously. Apply liberally and evenly; avoid overspreading. Touch dry in 1 - 2 hours. Recoatable after 2 - 4 hours. The Zoffany True Matt Emulsion is suitable for commercial and residential spaces, on walls and ceilings. One coat of Zoffany True Matt covers up to 15m2 per litre, depending on the nature and porosity of the surface. Also available in a Acrylic Eggshell and Elite Emulsion version.
It seems there might be a mix-up, as the product you're referring to is a paint, while it's categorised under 'Rugs'. Assuming you're asking about the True Matt Emulsion Paint, I love how its matt finish offers a sophisticated, muted backdrop that enhances colour depth without a shine. It works particularly well in modern or traditional interiors where a soft, understated look is desired. I recommend pairing this paint with textured accessories or bold artworks for contrast, and it’s very forgiving for walls that may see some wear, making it a practical choice for busy households or high-traffic areas. For styling tips, consider layering with tactile fabrics and furniture in warm neutrals or rich colours to create a balanced and inviting space.
