Description

Our Tristan Tripod Table Lamp is the perfect addition to your living room side tables. The satin black finish matches the black shade for a sleek, modern aesthetic ideal for any home decor. The tripod legs have a trendy, contemporary appearance.

Our Stylist Says

I love this tripod table lamp for its sleek, minimalist design and versatile matte black finish, which makes it a great fit for contemporary or industrial interiors. It works particularly well as a statement piece on side tables, bedside chests, or in a corner to add ambient lighting without overwhelming the space. For styling tips, consider layering with textured accessories or opposing materials like wood or brass to create visual interest. Keep the shade’s scale in proportion to other elements in the room to ensure it remains a balanced feature, and opt for warm bulbs to soften the overall look and make the space feel more inviting.

About BHS.com

Founded in 1928, BHS is a renowned brand that caters to various tastes and budgets. From modern to classic designs, BHS offers quality items that effortlessly elevate your decor.

Historical Roots

British Home Stores, known as BHS, was founded by a group of U.S. entrepreneurs with the goal of replicating the same success that was seen by Woolworths.

Their first store was on the streets of Brixton and the brand quickly gained popularity for its diverse offerings.

Over time, their range of products expanded to encompass not just clothing and household items, but also furniture, electronics, entertainment, and even beauty products. By the 1960's, BHS already had 94 stores across the nation!

Expansion and Evolution

BHS has always been on the cutting edge of retail trends! In the 1970s and 1980s, when indoor shopping centres were gaining popularity, BHS quickly adapted. Their collaboration with Sainsbury's led to the creation of SavaCentre hypermarkets, which offered a combined retail experience of both general merchandise and groceries.

They didn't limit themselves to the UK either. By 1985, BHS opened its doors in Gibraltar, marking its international debut. Significant milestones like the merger with Habitat and Mothercare in 1986 further shaped its success.
