Description

Tripod floor lamps are a very popular style, adding a statement look to your lighting and will suit almost any modern décor. The Tristan floor lamp comes complete with a white fabric shade and finished in copper for a retro vibe. This floor lamp is sure to be a brilliant addition to your home and will offer a soft yet purposeful shine over an armchair or sofa.

Our Stylist Says

I love how the Tristan Tripod in copper adds warmth and a contemporary edge to a variety of interiors. Its sleek tripod design and subtle metallic finish make it versatile enough for modern living rooms, bedrooms, or even a stylish home office. I recommend pairing it with neutral or muted colour schemes to let the copper detail stand out or using it to introduce a touch of metallic luxe to minimalist settings. Practically, it's ideal for creating ambient lighting - position it next to a sofa or reading nook, and add a cosy, layered lighting scheme with low-level lamps and perhaps some textured fabrics for extra visual interest. This lamp works well with both modern Scandinavian and industrial-inspired interiors, bringing a subtle elegance that’s understated but impactful.

About BHS.com

Founded in 1928, BHS is a renowned brand that caters to various tastes and budgets. From modern to classic designs, BHS offers quality items that effortlessly elevate your decor.

Historical Roots

British Home Stores, known as BHS, was founded by a group of U.S. entrepreneurs with the goal of replicating the same success that was seen by Woolworths.

Their first store was on the streets of Brixton and the brand quickly gained popularity for its diverse offerings.

Over time, their range of products expanded to encompass not just clothing and household items, but also furniture, electronics, entertainment, and even beauty products. By the 1960's, BHS already had 94 stores across the nation!

Expansion and Evolution

BHS has always been on the cutting edge of retail trends! In the 1970s and 1980s, when indoor shopping centres were gaining popularity, BHS quickly adapted. Their collaboration with Sainsbury's led to the creation of SavaCentre hypermarkets, which offered a combined retail experience of both general merchandise and groceries.

They didn't limit themselves to the UK either. By 1985, BHS opened its doors in Gibraltar, marking its international debut. Significant milestones like the merger with Habitat and Mothercare in 1986 further shaped its success.
