I’m a big fan of this rose-velvet super-king bed for adding a soft, warm focal point without overwhelming a room. Its scalloped headboard and plush upholstery work beautifully in both contemporary and classic schemes - think pared-back Scandi bedrooms or more layered, vintage-inspired spaces. For styling, keep bedside tables slim and in lighter woods or metal to let the bed’s colour shine. Layer in crisp white linen with a couple of muted-pink or terracotta cushions, then finish with a natural-fibre rug underfoot and brass or matte-black lamps for a balanced look.
