I’m a fan of this lichen-green velvet bed because it strikes the right balance between bold colour and soft texture, and the scalloped headboard adds subtle architectural interest without overwhelming a room. It works particularly well in modern-Scandi or mid-century interiors where warm woods, minimalist lighting and clean lines set the scene.
For styling, choose natural-fibre bedding in off-white or pale grey to let the green pop, then layer in accent cushions in muted terracotta or deep navy.
