Our Stylist Says
I love the tripod lamp with its modern chrome finish and grey cotton shade - it offers a clean, contemporary look that’s versatile enough to fit in various interiors. It’s particularly well-suited for minimalist, Scandinavian, or industrial styles, adding a subtle touch of sophistication without overpowering other design elements. Practical styling tips include pairing it with textured accessories or layered lighting to create a warm, inviting atmosphere. It works well on bedside tables, sideboards, or within cosy reading nooks, especially when you want a functional yet stylish light source. Using it in neutral-tinted interiors will highlight its sleek finish, while a pop of colour in surrounding accessories can make it stand out as a statement piece.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
