Description

Sweetgrass and Cedar are two of the main plants used by Native people along with Sage and Tobacco. Sweetgrass is the sacred hair of Mother Earth, usually braided in three strands. Once dried, the braid is burned at the beginning of a prayer or ceremony for smudging and purification of the spirit. Cedar, a resinous aromatic tree is also used for cleansing rituals and healing rites. Native peoples of North America burn Cedar while praying and its smoke is said to attract the goo spirits and eliminate negative energies. The vanilla-like fragrance of Sweetgrass combines in these sticks with the sweet herbaceous scent of Cedar to protect, purify and to bring positivity.

Our Stylist Says

I love the tribal soul incense sticks because they bring a calming, earthy vibe that works well in both contemporary and boho-inspired interiors. The sweet grass and cedar scent creates a peaceful atmosphere, making it ideal for relaxation spaces like living rooms or bedroom corners. For styling, try placing the sticks in a minimalist holder or alongside natural elements such as stones, wicker baskets, or wooden accents to enhance their organic feel. They’re especially effective in space where you want to evoke a sense of calm and connection to nature, so consider using them in open shelving, on side tables, or near meditation corners to add both aroma and visual interest.

About The Range

Founded in 1989, The Range is the fastest growing retailer in the UK with an extensive selection to cater to a variety of styles and budgets. The Range provides affordable and quality products to enhance your living space.

Humble Beginnings

In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.

Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.

A Visionary Leader

Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.

Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.

More Than Just Stores

You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
