Description
A totally stripped-back, ethereal structure for this incredible steel chair that's akin to a modern sculpture. The Triangolo chair was created in 1989 by Danish designer Per Holland Bastrup. Featuring a tripod base, it stands out for its triangular seat, topped off with a truncated inclined ring that serves as a backrest. An interlocking triangle and circle: these two essential, elementary geometrical forms give rise to a simple, expressive composition with perfect proportions. This sculptural, refined construction explores the notion of balance. Despite its apparent imbalance, this chair is perfectly stable. It can be used around a table, in a living room, an entrance, a bedroom... It captures the eye like a contemporary work of art.
