Description
Designed by Elisa Padrón and Nani Marquina for the eponymous nanimarquina, the inviting, yellow-hued Tres Texture Rug is now weatherproofed for outdoor enjoyment. A contemporary interpretation of a traditional Dhurrie, the rug is loomed by hand using three individual pieces of recycled polyethene, each dyed to create a distinctive finish. Crafted on traditional horizontal looms, Dhurries are renowned for their incredible colours and intricate, inimitable designs. Founded in 1987 by Nani Marquina, the daughter of pioneering Spanish designer Rafael Marquina, nanimarquina blends contemporary designs with traditional techniques to create unique and eye-catching handcrafted rugs. nanimarquina collaborates with prestigious international designers to design unique rugs and crafts them with particular attention to selecting quality raw materials. Care instructions: Wet clean, and air dry.
