Description

Designed by Elisa Padrón and Nani Marquina for the eponymous nanimarquina, the Tres Salvia Rug is weatherproofed to transform your outdoor space. A contemporary interpretation of a traditional Dhurrie, this rug is created using three individual pieces of fully recycled polythene, each dyed to create a distinctive finish. Handcrafted on traditional looms, Dhurries are renowned for their incredible colours and intricate, inimitable designs. Founded in 1987 by Nani Marquina, the daughter of pioneering Spanish designer Rafael Marquina, nanimarquina blends contemporary designs with traditional techniques to create unique and eye-catching handcrafted rugs. nanimarquina collaborates with prestigious international designers to design unique rugs and crafts them with particular attention to selecting quality raw materials. Care instructions: Wet clean, and air dry.

Our Stylist Says

I really like the Tres Salvia outdoor rug for its versatile, muted palette and subtle patchwork pattern, which adds visual interest without overpowering a space. It's perfect for outdoor patios or covered verandas where a touch of colour and texture can elevate the overall look. I recommend pairing it with natural materials like wicker furniture or teak tables for a relaxed, contemporary vibe. To keep it looking fresh, consider layering with outdoor cushions in complementary colours and ensuring it’s under cover or in a shaded spot to protect it from excessive weathering. Its sizeable 170cm x 240cm footprint makes it ideal for defining larger seating areas or outdoor dining zones.
