The Range
Trento Large Black Lantern - Black
£60
Price History
Description
This lamp has a striking visual appeal with a black base and glass chimney enclosed within a metal wireframe cage. The black metal cage aids in the protection of the glass chimney while enhancing the lamp's aesthetics to make it an accent piece.
Our Stylist Says
I really like this lantern for its sleek, modern design that offers a bold statement piece without feeling overly ornate. The black finish makes it versatile and able to fit into a range of interiors, from contemporary minimal spaces to industrial-style settings. It works particularly well on sideboards, coffee tables, or as a centrepiece on a dining table, adding a touch of sophistication. For styling tips, try clustering it with other candle holders of different heights or adding greenery nearby to soften the look. It’s also practical to use outdoors during cosy evenings - just ensure it’s placed on stable ground and away from strong winds to enjoy the candlelight safely.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
