Our Stylist Says
I love this traditional floral bordered rug for its versatility and timeless appeal. Its charcoal palette makes it suitable for both classic and contemporary interiors, offering a grounding element without overwhelming the space. It works particularly well in living rooms or bedrooms where you want to introduce pattern and character, but it’s also practical because the darker tones help conceal dirt and wear. For styling, pair it with neutral furnishings for a balanced look, or add pops of colour through cushions and accessories to elevate the overall aesthetic. Its size makes it ideal for defining seating areas or adding warmth to larger rooms, and it can seamlessly fit into both traditional and modern settings.

About The Range
Humble Beginnings
In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
A Visionary Leader
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
More Than Just Stores
You can find The Range in many places, mostly outside town centres, but also in shopping areas. Some stores have a coffee shop called "Dee Dee's", and others even have a food section from Iceland. And if you like online shopping, The Range has got you covered there too with a big online store.
