I’m a fan of this leaning desk for its clever use of vertical space and light finish - it’s ideal in a small home office, hallway or bedroom nook. The clean lines and pine-and-white palette suit Scandi-inspired, modern minimalist or coastal interiors. For styling, keep the desktop clear with just a slim laptop or notebook and a simple desk lamp; use the middle shelf for a couple of slim binders and the top tier to display a small plant or a framed print. Add a slim wall-mounted organiser beside it to hold pens and papers, and you’ll have a tidy, visually light workspace.

In 1980, Chris Dawson set up a simple open-air market stall in Plymouth. By 1989, this entrepreneurial spirit led to the opening of the very first physical store on Billacombe Road, originally named "C.D.S. Superstores". However, in the early '90s, a rebranding took place, introducing "The Range" to the world.
Today, with a whopping 200+ stores across the UK, The Range boasts an impressive selection of over 65,000 products, spreading across 16 diverse departments, all dedicated to enhancing homes and lifestyles.
Chris Dawson, the brain behind The Range, held the CEO position from 1989 to 2017. With a flair for business, Chris's achievements haven't gone unnoticed. He was even ranked fifth in a survey of Britain's Top 100 Entrepreneurs.
Under his leadership, The Range has not only thrived locally but has also hinted at European expansion dreams, envisioning a staggering 1,000 stores across the continent.
