Price History

Description

Bolster style cushions add a classical elegance to the architectural lines of our Toulon range of bespoke living room furniture. The sofa has a sculptural profile led by a mid-century aesthetic which is revealed in the slender square lines and tapered wooden legs. Round bolster cushions set inside each arm are a stylish refinement. Elegant piping provides a sophisticated finish. Promising the same handcrafted premium quality of all our made to order ranges, the Toulon sofa is a statement piece that can hold its own in formal settings or add a touch of gravity to laid back interiors. The Toulon range includes two seater and three seater sofas, a loveseat and an ottoman. Our Toulon collection can be upholstered in a choice of 34 distinctive shades and six fabrics to suit your style. Read our Upholstery FAQs View our full Upholstery Terms and Conditions

Our Stylist Says

I really like the Toulon sofa for its clean lines and versatile design, making it a great anchor piece in both contemporary and more traditional interiors. Its neutral, rich colour allows for easy styling with a variety of cushions and throws, and it can effortlessly be paired with patterned textiles to add interest without overwhelming the space. Practical tips include mixing textures - like boucle or linen cushions - to bring tactile appeal, and positioning the sofa in a well-lit corner to highlight its silhouette. It’s particularly suited to relaxed living rooms or open plan spaces, where its understated elegance will contribute to a balanced and inviting atmosphere.

About Cox and Cox

Founded in 2001, Cox and Cox puts a focus on unique designs and high-quality craftsmanship to help bring a touch of elegance and individuality to every room.

Origins and Evolution

Cox & Cox has a rich history that intertwines with British interior design. The brand traces its roots to Fiona Cox, a renowned figure in the UK's design scene who made waves with her appearance on the BBC's hit show, Home Front.

Fast forward to today, and they're stationed in Frome, Somerset, having evolved from tiny decorative trinkets to an expansive range of stylish furniture and more.

Globe-Trotting for the Perfect Piece

The team at Cox & Cox have a knack for hunting down unique pieces. They travel around the globe, exploring markets, meeting artisans, and diving into the world of design.

Out of the hundreds of items they come across, they meticulously select those that align with their ethos high-quality, functional, and stylish. And, with their offerings split into six distinct trends, they've got a bit of inspiration for every kind of home lover.

Marching Towards Sustainability

Cox & Cox is not just about aesthetic appeal; they are deeply committed to becoming a responsible brand.

Recognizing the long journey towards true sustainability, they've put in place an advisory board dedicated to advancing the use of sustainable materials and promoting responsible practices, both domestically and abroad.
