Description
Fun, gentle and cleverly regressive, the Tottori collection combines tender colours with round, simple, solid forms. With their apparent simplicity, these round pieces of furniture take us straight back to the delicious, protected time of childhood. The Tottori collection creates a bold interior with a mischievous, easy-going feel. To create the Tottori collection, Ukrainian designer Kateryna Sokolova took inspiration from the animated Japanese film "My neighbour Totoro" by Hayao Miyazaki. Like an animated deign character, the padded seats with their reassuring roundness present an inviting silhouette. These coffee tables with their strong personality present an imposing, balanced play of volumes. Covered with an ultra-shiny lacquered finish, Tottori coffee tables are made up of a thick MDF top over large cylindrical legs of different diameters. The generous diameter of the legs determines the distinctive look of the whole collection. Essential in its forms, the Tottori collection has maximum expressive force. The curved lines break with our strict, linear everyday environments. This creation emits a positive energy, blended with the sensuality of simple shapes. Highly poetic, it adapts to different contexts, whether classic or contemporary. Looking after Tottori coffee tables: Clean with a damp cloth and wipe with a dry cloth. Use neutral liquid cleaning products; don’t use solvents (acetone, trichloroethylene) or abrasive products.
